We work out of the Science Park at the University of Iceland. 

What you’ll do
● Lead the Project teams to achieve all project business targets: including safety, cost, schedule and quality.
● Delivering our R&D projects right through from discovery through to commercialisation
● Providing strong leadership and guidance to our project managers, and strong transparent decision making
● Bringing in best practice R&D project management, continuously improving how we work.
● Handle multiple projects with geographically split teams
● Developing strong relationships with all stakeholders driving performance and value.
● Drive safety in our workplace
What we’re looking for
● Doctorate or Master's degree in fields related to Energy, sustainability, Circular Economy or related industry
● Data management & Programming experience a plus (programing language experience) like python, Python, Ruby or C++
● Strong dedication to organization and attention to detail
● Interested in what we do, and quick to learn about the business,
● Open communicator, always willing to share their views with the team

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities
● Create and lead effective project teams, working with the technical team leads, to deliver successful projects.
● Agile in picking up different parts of project lifecycle, experienced in project delivery from idea to concept/ project closure.
● Work with technical teams to obtain information to produce a project plan and maintain this plan through the life of the project
● Ensure requirements are being managed, recorded and signed off in the designated tool for the project.
● Ensure a risk register of threats and opportunities are maintained for all projects and validate contingency costs against these.
● Document and manage assumptions and dependencies for the projects and produce required reports and transparency.
● Manage the resource requirements of the project(s) working with the resourcing function.
● Always fully comply with Greenvolt’s policies and procedures
● Undertake such other reasonable duties, commensurate with the job holder’s experience and qualifications, as may be required for the smooth operation of the business
